What is 3Fax?

  • 3Fax is a fax/modem which turns your Series 3a into a powerful communications tool.  With 3Fax you can:
  • Send Fax messages or fax existing Series 3a documents to another fax machine.  You can also use it with an acoustic coupler (supplied by your telephone company) to send a fax from a public telephone.
  • Transfer files from your Series 3a to another computer via the telephone network.
  • Dial an email service
IMPORTANT: 3Fax is designed to be used with the Psion 512K Series 3a, not the 256K Series 3a or the Series 3.  It can be used to transfer files to another computer via modems - it cannot be used to make direct physical link between the Series 3a and other computers.  The Fax application (not included) allows you to use 3Fax to send faxes, but does not allow 3Fax to be used to receive faxes.
